O LUME MISTERIOASA, UN CARATER FEMININ PUTERNIC, UMOR, SUSPANS SI UN STROP DE ROMANCE.

Ma numesc Madison Avery si trebuie sa va spun ca acolo se afla mai mult decat puteti vedea, auzi sau atinge. Stiu, pentru ca eu ma aflu acolo. Si vad. Aud. Ating. Traiesc.

Balul de absolvire al lui Madison a fost mortal – la propriu. Din cine stie ce motiv, ea a fost tinta unui spintecator al intunericului – da, genul acela de spintecator – decis sa scape de ea, cu trup si suflet. Dar, inainte ca spintecatorul sa-si incheie treaba, Madison a reusit sa-i ia amuleta ciudata si stralucitoare si sa scape.

Acum, e captiva pe Pamant – moarta, dar nu disparuta. Cumva, amuleta ii ofera iluzia unui corp, permitandu-i sa traiasca la limita dintre viata si moarte, undeva intre acum si ceea ce urmeaza. Nu stie de ce, spintecatorul intunericului e pe urmele ei, dar ea n-are de gand sa stea cu mainile in san si sa lase soarta sa-si urmeze cursul.

Cu putina ingeniozitate si cu ajutorul unui spintecator al luminii (unul dintre tipii buni ! Poate...), dar si al baiatului de care e indragostita, precum si al (o, da !) ingerului ei pazitor, Madison e gata sa-si ia destinul in propriile maini o data pentru totdeauna, inainte ca acesta sa o controleze pe ea.

Asta daca ea crede in asemenea lucruri.

Madison Avery. Usor rebela, cool, si pe cat posibil, devreme acasa. A, da, si pe jumatate moarta. O combinatie delicioasa de supranatural si fantasy, care incepe intr-o nota serioasa, abordand un subiect nu tocmai usor digerabil, dar care pana la urma, se transforma intr-un peisaj cu momente usor comine, autoarea incercand sa mai detensioneze atmosfera, de altfel serioasa, de la inceputul cartii.

Lectura este una usoara, incadrandu-se perfect in categoria celor pe care le poti citi intr-o zi, dar avand totusi calitatea de a nu plictisi cititorul. Notele comice presarate printre pagini, ajuta la digerarea mai usoara a cartii, avand in vedere, ca desi nu este o carte tipica celor din care sa tragi invataturi, atrage totusi atentia asupra unui aspect important al vietii, si acela de a avea dreptul la alegere. 

Personajele au fost in parte ok, cu exceptia unora care nu cred ca-si aveau locul. Acelasi lucru il pot spune si la adresa unor fragmente din carte, care mi-au parut putin trase de par, in sensul ca, dupa parerea mea, nu ar fi trebuit dezvaluite atatea detalii care nu ar fi interesat.

In concluzie, "Pe jumatate moarta" merita citita, pentru subiectul pe care il abordeaza, pentru modul "adolescentin" in care autoarea il abordeaza, si pentru Barnabas, ingerul poznas :) Dupa Madison, el face toata cartea!

Recenzie SOVAIRE de Maggie Stiefvater

In Fior, Grace si Sam s-au gasit. Acum, in Sovaire, trebuie sa lupte ca sa ramana impreuna. Pentru Grace, asta inseamna sa-si infrunte parintii si sa pastreze un secret deosebit de periculos despre ea insasi. Pentru Sam inseamna sa se impace cu trecutul sau ca varcolac si sa afle cum poate supravietui pe viitor. Dar mai apare si un lup nou, pe nume Cole, al carui trecut ar putea distruge intreaga haita. Iar Isabel, care deja si-a pierdut fratele, este atrasa oricum de Cole. Sovaire ne vorbeste despre ambele laturi ale iubirii, cea intunecata si cea luminoasa si despre puterea oamenilor de a depasi obstacole prin forta dragostei.

PAREREA MEA

Acest volum doi al seriei Lupii din Mercy Falls, a fost mai jos in comparatie cu primul. Si mai slab din punct de vedere al actiunii si al calitatii scrisului. Sunt pasaje in care ai pur si simplu impresia ca citesti o carte fortata, scrisa doar pentru interes financiar. Ai impresia ca adevarata actiune este concentrata in ultimele capitole ale cartii.

Pe de alta parte, schimbarile majorile ce inconjoara personajele principale, aduc cu sine noi sentimente, temeri si multa tristete. Acest al doilea volum, nu mai este scris doar din punctul de vedere al lui Grace si Sam, ci si din punctul de vedere al altor doua personaje, Isabel, care este prezenta si in primul volum, intr-o mai mica masura, si Cole, un nou personaj cheie in desfasurarea actiunii finale.

Sovaire este totusi o carte buna, care prin intorsaturile de situatie, si prin intensitatea tristetii care ii este transmisa cititorului, atinge inima acestuia, facandu-l sa astepte cu nerabdare urmatoarea carte, pentru a putea deslusii secretele existentei lupilor, secretele ce ar putea tine deoparte, macar pentru ceva ani, pericolul in care este infasurata lumea si viata lui Grace si a lui Sam.

O carte perfecta, calda, uimitoare si din nou perfecta.

Lecturarea ei este placuta, extrem de potrivita unei astfel de povesti, a carui final, oricat de multa imaginatie ti-ar fi pusa la dispozitie, nu l-ai putea ghici. 

Titlul nu putea fi mai potrivit de atat. De ce? Pentru simplul motiv ca asta este sentimentul care te incearca in timpul lecturii. Fiorul. Il simti cum ti se plimba pe sira spinarii in timp ce citesti povestea de dragoste dintre Grace si Sam, in timp ce te afunzi in sentimentele lor pure si curate. Simti dragostea puternica si de neoprit care le emana prin toti porii.

„M-a sarutat mai intens, i-am simtit rasuflarea in gura si m-a muscat de buza de jos. La naiba, era uimitor. Am marait fara sa ma pot abtine, da, inainte sa apuc sa ma stanjenjenesc, Grace isi trase mainile de la spate si le innodase dupa gatul meu, tragandu-ma catre ea.

-Ce sexy a fost asta, a spus ea cu vocea tremurata. Nu credeam ca poti fi atat de sexy.”

In ciuda timpului potrivnic, care face orice sa-i desparta, Sam si Grace sunt din ce in ce mai legati unul de altul. Autoarea ii descrie ca fiind de departe suflete pereche, dispuse chiar sa atinga moartea pentru a fi intr-un final impreuna.

Cartea nu are momente extrem de tensionate, cel putin mie nu mi s-a parut, cu exceptia catorva. Uneori are parti plictisitoare, insa toate acele parti, neinsemnate initial, fac deliciul cartii insasi, oferindu-i stabilitate, lectura placuta si acel confort ravnit, specific unei carti tumultoase, dar linistita si neprevazuta, cu final neimaginat, si mai mult decat perfect.

In conditiile de fata, nota pe care o acord nu poate sa fie decat cea maxima, pentru toate momentele tandre, antrenante, partial neinsemnate, si dulci. Si inca un lucru; va recomand cu caldura aceasta carte.

Cine nu si-a dorit vreodata sa fie vrajitoare? Plecand de la desenele animate care mi-au marcat copilaria, si pana la dorinta de a-ti putea aranja ca prin minune parul, cine nu s-a visat macar o singura data vrajitoare? Deci?

Cam asa este Sophie, ii place sa fie vrajitoare, sa poata ajuta pe cineva, sa-si poate vindeca o julitura, sau mai stiu eu ce, chestii marunte. Pe parcursul lecturii veti descoperii o Sophie amuzanta, curioasa, indragostita iremediabil de iubitul uneia dintre dusmancele ei. O Sophie care intra mai mereu in belele si o buna prietena. Mai pe scurt, o eroina tare draguta.

Cartea este buna, spre foarte buna. Parerea mea. Imi place cum este scrisa, este usor de citit, si, cel mai important, are cateva momente tare amuzante! "CAINE RAU!" O sa stiti despre ce vorbesc numai daca cititi cartea.

Va garantez ca o sa va placa, in ciuda scurtei mele recenzii. O sa radeti, o sa stati ca pe ghimpi, o sa fiti curiosi, o sa savurati lectura. GARANTAT!

Recenzie/Review DARK KISS (Nightwatchers #1) by Michelle Rowen

I don't do dangerous.  Smart, über-careful, ordinary Samantha-that's me. But I just couldn't pass up a surprise kiss from my number-one unattainable crush. A kiss that did something to me...something strange. Now I feel hungry all the time, but not for food. It's like part of me is missing-and I don't know if I can get it back. 

Then there's Bishop. At first I thought he was just a street kid, but the secrets he's keeping are as intense as his unearthly blue eyes. If he's what I think he is, he may be the only one who can help me. But something terrifying is closing in, and the one chance Bishop and I have to stop it means losing everything I ever wanted and embracing the darkness inside me.... 

MY OPINION

I get chills when I remember this book. I regret that it was over. And how! WAW!

God, so you have no idea how many times I remained breathless while reading. Simply forget to breathe. I'll say in the most sincere way possible. It's AMAZING! It's strong, has plenty of action, is sensual, warm, exceptional. Take a toll on mind and soul of the reader.

Believe me I don't find my words, such I'm excited about the book. I finished a few days ago. Initially, can't wait to write the review. But when I start typing, could't find the words. All were a pleasure chaos in my mind. Don't know what to write faster, what to point out. How and in what way, so don't give a spoiler, but it will make you simply love, already, from present review.

Those few days passed, and I still shudder when I think of the book, the characters, the action, the subject itself. Still not able to find my words.

He spoke sotly into my ear. "I should warn you, it's a very dangerous kiss. It'll change your life forever, so you have to want it."

If I wasn't feeling so flustered, I might have thought he was being cocky. I mean, please. A kiss that could change my life forever?>>

I have a question for you, although not usual for a review. Title "Dark Kiss", what makes you think? If it leads to a kiss from that start everything, you're right. If it leads to a passionate kiss, yet full of a strange hungry, you're right. If it leads you to Heaven and Hell, both involved, and they fully woven itself into action, again you are right. If you think of angels and demons ... well ... you spotted! If yet there continue to think, and still have a glimpse of the road, and find that Heaven and Hell, angels and demons, working together to destroy a demon anomaly... You found some source of fascinating reading. But that's not all. Passion and desire, in high levels and extremely hot, but allowed to be read by a minor, is icing on the cake! There you mostly forget to breathe. Why is it so important just a kiss? Well it is, because he's the subject of the book. It changes your life forever.

How about? I've sparked curiosity? If you don't, I'll will leave a few phrases that made ​​me forget I'm human and I need occasionally to breathe. Maybe they will not seem so important, but in the context of the book, I assure you are to blame for the lack of oxygen to the brain.

PAREREA MEA

Ma trec fiorii cand imi aduc aminte de carte. Patesc acelasi lucru pe care l-am patit cu Obsidian. Regret ca s-a terminat. Si in ce fel!!! WAW!!! 

Dumnezeule, deci nu aveti idee de cate ori am ramas fara suflare in timpul lecturii. Pur si simplu uitam sa mai respir, va spun in cel mai sincer mod cu putinta. E UI-MI-TOA-RE!!! E puternica, are actiune din plin, e senzuala, calda, exceptionala. Isi lasa amprenta in mintea si in sufletul cititorului. 

Credeti-ma ca nu-mi gasesc cuvintele, atat sunt de incantata de carte. Am terminat-o acum cateva zile, si initial, abia asteptam sa scriu recenzia, dar cand am inceput sa tastez, ioc cuvinte. Toate erau un haos de placere in mintea mea. Nu stiam ce sa scriu mai repede, ce sa scot in evidenta, cum si in ce fel, astfel incat sa nu dau nici un spoiler, dar sa va fac sa o iubiti pur si simplu, deja, din recenzia de fata.

Uite ca au trecut acele cateva zile, si eu tot ma-nfior cand ma gandesc la carte, la personaje, la actiune, la subiectul in sine. Tot nu sunt in stare sa-mi gasesc cuvintele. Tot imi rasar in minte citate care m-au lasat fara aer. Tot suspin in timp ce astept ca pe ghimpi volumul 2...

My cheeks warmed. "I... um..."

He spoke sotly into my ear. "I should warn you, it's a very dangerous kiss. It'll change your life forever, so you have to want it."

If I wasn't feeling so flustered, I might have thought he was being cocky. I mean, please. A kiss that could change my life forever?>>

Am o intrebare pentru voi, cu toate ca nu e obisnuit pentru o recenzie. Titlul "Dark Kiss", la ce va duce cu gandul? Daca va duce la un sarut, de la care porneste totul, aveti dreptate. Daca va duce la un sarut pasional si in acelasi timp plin de o foame ciudata, aveti dreptate. Daca va duce cu gandul la Rai si Iad, amandoua implicate, impletite din plin si ele insesi in actiune, iarasi aveti dreptate. Daca va ganditi la ingeri si demoni... ei bine... ati ochit! Daca totusi mai continuati sa va ganditi, si mai aveti o frantura de drum, si descoperiti ca Raiul si Iadul, Ingerii si Demonii, lucreaza impreuna pentru a nimicii un demon-anomalie... Ati descoperit o parte din sursa unei lecturi fascinante. Dar asta nu este tot. Pasiunea si dorinta, in cote mari si extrem de fierbinti, dar permisa ca fiind citita de un minor, este cireasa de pe tort! Acolo o sa uitati in mare parte sa mai respirati. De ce e atat de important un simplu sarut? Pai este, pentru ca el e obiectul cartii. El iti schimba viata pentru totdeauna.

Ce ziceti, v-am starnit curiozitatea? Daca inca nu, in continuare o sa va mai las cateva fraze ce m-au facut sa uit ca sunt om, si mai am nevoie din cand in cand sa respir. Poate nu vor parea atat de importante, dar in contextul cartii, va asigur ca sunt de vina pentru lipsa de oxigenare a creierului.
